Adjustable beds are the latest combination of modern materials and technology fusing two sciences to provide a bed with a lot of benefits.
The general idea of the adjustable bed is to help anyone who feels more comfortable in an inclined position (sitting on a recliner with their feet up), rather than lying on a regular flat mattress. Osteoarthritis
People who have osteoarthritis in the spine, or facet joint arthritis, usually wake up in the morning with a feeling of stiffness and soreness. If they sleep on an adjustable bed, it may give them better support and therefore it will decrease the irritation by minimizing joint compression.
Spinal stenosis
People who have spinal stenosis usually feel more comfortable when they are bent forward, and not when standing up straight. So, sleeping on a flat mattress might be less comfortable for these people who suffer from this condition than sleeping in a reclining position, which you can do when sleeping in an adjustable bed.
Moreover, if you have had lower back surgery or any back surgery or suffer from lower back pain, you might feel that an adjustable bed is more comfortable for you than a flat mattress. The majority of people prefer adjustable beds not only for the mentioned illnesses but also if they suffer from a Hiatus Hernia for example as doctors recommend not to sleep flat, basically an adjustable bed is far more comfortable than an ordinary one.
You may consider buying an adjustable bed if you feel better when sitting in a reclining chair with your knees supported or if you have trouble getting a good night’s rest on a regular flat mattress.
